There are so many books out there on 3D Studio MAX, Photoshop, etc., that I have lost track of them all and pretty much don't want to spend $500 trying to get a book I like. I was wondering if any of you out there can recommend the best book to buy related to 3D Studio MAX R3 and another book for Photoshop (Specifically, how to use it for creating photorealistic textures). I'd appreciate the help, because with the extreme cost of the plugins etc. for this software, money cannot be wasted on books. Thanks!
