Hey there...

I have tried to draw models for numerous times now. I can copy a descent picture with pencil but i cant produce it myself... does anyone know tutorials or something? or tips on how to draw a model?

buy anatomy books..

books are the best, or try an art class.. you'll have to learn the traditional way. there is no shortcut or a simple tutorial..

Playboy works good for me. It also helps when you wanna get better at drawing the female form. There's tons of porn on the net too.. newsgroups are overflowing.. stop looking at me like that...

metacreations's poser * works somewhat half decently for learning basic anatomy...

but eh. books are still the best way to go.

If you keep on drawing and making written and mental observations of the female form, your bound to get something right, aren't you?

Go to your nearest art supply store or even a major bookshop and pick up a good book on the human form. To be good at drawing females you need to be able to draw the male digure. The muscle groups are the same, with a few modifications of course!

Or just pick up a Playboy mag, and work with that if your to much of a tight arse.

Doing a Life Drawing course is a must. I've been meaning to do one for ages! mmmm... naked chicks... (perverted thought!)

Screw all the books and stuff...go hang out at your local mall and stare intently at the chicks walking around in vacuum wrapped clothing. When they walk up to you and beat the living hell out of ya, simply proclaim "I'm studying the female form for the sake of art." This usually gets a phone number and a ready willingness for women to take off their clothes in front of you.
If all else fails, pay them. Hookers need to be drawn too you know :P
