OK, Let's... let me face it. I am a kid graduating from high school and I have no idea if I should dive into the nearest digital school right away without going to university. I have thought about this quite a bit, going to university costs lots of money and I don't know if it's worth it to attend univeristy. What course should I take if I am going to university? Are the employers looking for diploma or education background? or do they only care about your portfolio? Please keep this on a fact-only(factual?) basis. No "I think" this is that way stuff. I would really appreciate it for your response to help me out, especially those of you who live in Canada. Thanks.

LOL... hey Trance-R. In the same boat as me, I see Well, I'm graduation this year too, and I'm hoping to get into UBC. I don't know what I want to study yet, though... I would just like a degree. That piece of paper really helps. BUt for skills training, I'm also going to take some courses at VFS. If I like it there, I'll just enroll there, too. But a degree (or similar certificate of training) is becoming more and more important in this day and age... I want to be an artist, but not a starving one

I'd appreciate comments on this topic from people who've made the jump already... you can give us high-schoolers much needed info

UBC eh? What courses are you taking in there?
Computer Science mebe? or Architecture? what?
