Dax,

some other books to check out for humans are Bridgman's guide to Anatomy(I think his name is George Bridgman.) a good figure book
Burne Hogarth's Dynamic Anatomy (A good book for human perspective drawing).
How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way (you guessed it, How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way)

As far as anime and manga go, they're more or less spin-offs on the Disney style and what's learned from drawing from life, I don't know of any books that really focus on the subject. You may find some of those step by step books.

Hope that helps.

There is an author called Hikaru Hayashi who's publishig a series of books called: "How to draw manga: [subtitle]" .
I picked up one of these books the other day (the only one out atm. i think), and I found it really good. If one is into that sort of thing. Nice tutorials and whatnot.

hope this helps.

He actually has a ton of "How to draw Manga.." books, but the majority of them are still in japanese. I ordered 2 of them from http://www.anotheruniverse.com If you do a search on the net for "how to draw manga" you should come up with plenty of links. Also, someone has already posted on this subject so just search the forum for manga and anime. I'm sure there are some good links in here somewhere.
