Hey Everyone,
I got an assignment in my drawing class today to draw some silverware :P I was just wondering if maybe someone could gimmie a little bit of a push in the right direction with a drawing(s) of some silverware with reflections and stuff. It's to be a marker-rendering, and I'm not to great with that medium yet. Basically, I just want to see how you guys create reflections and stuff in silverware :/
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks,

Did those pages with the generic reflection stuff help? Applying general stuff lke that to a particular image takes time.
With something as common as a spoon, make a straight line for the kitchen...
In general, reflective stuff has a lot of contrast, fast jumps between dark and light. No surface is totally matte or totally reflective, but some are close. A spoon might have a diffuse quality if it has been used. I know this is a little general to be of use, but I will be getting into this stuff in my column on 3dpalette. |

Thanks guys.
I've read through Craig's page like 120495985t4984 times, and I just couldn't find a way to apply his information on reflection to this god damn project.. in any case, I got it done, and it looks pretty good. I hate marker rendering :P
Thanks again!
