I know this is an awful pic...My first real digital art, I just got a Graphics Tablet. I guess my only excuse for the cheap quality is that I'm only 14

It would help if you provided the URL for the image, so we wouldn't have to dig it out of the page source... Anyway, here it is:

Doesn't look all that bad! The sharp outlines on the ear and hairline are what bothers me most about this pic. Bolder shading would fix that problem and benefit the image overall, now there's so little contrast that it all looks flat. One way is to mark the extreme values (almost-black and almost-white) first and then work between those... Don't be afraid to use the full range of values! (Though I'm maybe not the person to speak, considering how most of my stuff ends up awfully dark )
