Does anyone know the source code for a hit counter?
I've got about another weeks worth of work to do before I can get my site up and running and wanted to put in a counter. I've tried various sources but it either involves me signing up or paying, neither of which I'm too keen on.

You would have to use a cgi script or frontpage extensions both of which would reside on the server end. try going to www.counter.com
