Looks cool. But to be honest, it doesn't look any better than the previous girls you drew. Maybe you should get a new subject/technique? Anyway, pose is cool, skirt is awesome...

Niiice. The outfit is great. As mentioned, skirt kicks ass. I bet she'd look better if you added a pair of glasses for character, kinda hanging on the bridge of her nose. Just a suggestion. Keep up the "SiN".

Hey Oscar maybe you should chill. Does it say anywhere in my post that i want or care for you criticism? I don't care what people think of my artwork, i do it for me. If you don't like it, then don't look at it. I simply post here to direct people who are interested to my site. If your not interested then don't go. Unless you're asked, which most times in here people state, then by all means fire away...but you weren't so don't.

Hey Fallen! chill out dude... peace!

If you post your work on a board, you are inviting people to comment on it. That means you'll get positive as well as negative opinions, so you'll have to deal with both. Personally i dont think Oscar said anything bad about your work, he merely pointed out in a very gentle manner that she looked alot like your previous works, which she does. No need to freak out on him like that...

If you dont give a shit what people think, dont post. People that like your work will come to your site anyhow.

I'd also like to state that i like the pic very much, especially the skirt has lots of detail to it. Good work i'd say, but hey! you dont give a shit about anyone's opinion so i guess i should just shut up....

Fallen:
What the fuck?! This is a Digital Art forum; you post something, we critisize. If you're afraid to get critisized, don't post. There's this really neat thing called freedom of speech, I love it. Next time you post here, put up a "No criticism please, you're not better than me anyway." line underneath your drawing.

AcidDrone:
That's bullshit. If you believe Stan Lee is only good at drawing the Marvel cast, you should get your head checked. At least all the X-Men have different faces...

" a very gentle manner." ??

Posting on a board does not invite criticism. People who post on a board ask for criticism which is very apparent if you've seen any of the posts in here. I've seen some really goo d stuff in here that just gets ripped to shit by the "untouchables".
This was simply an advertisment, so to speak, for my site. That's why it was posted.

Fallen, maybe you should say so then...
Most (if not every person here) post pics in order to get some feedback, criticism to improve themselves. Don't get me wrong,
i think you work is very good , but
don't get so pissed if someone post a comment or whatever. People will always comment. If you're not interrested in comments, then don't read it, post it somewhere else. If you can't handle comments at all, then you're in big trouble.
Damn!

If it's advertisement, shouldnt it be in the random musings forum?

And 'gentle'? yes, very gentle. It was a simple observation, not even close to the real meaning of the word "critique".

Shit man, you've really got your skills down, but please grow some skin...

Geez, Id had to see you in front of an art director, youd prolly curl into a fetal position and cry. Take it easy, once youve shown someone your piece, its *now* their art to praise/berate as they want, if you dont want opinions or dont care.. then dont post. Nice work though, you should put up some comic sequentials (seems to be your style, not sure if you do that kinda thang)

Hell yea... my most brilliant (ahem) designs have been butchered, dissected and raped by art directors, customers and colleagues, only to be mutilated and bastardized into the designs they are now....

Face it, design hurts

Seems like you don't care Fallen, but I think this thing might be healthy for you. . .To get critisized is the only way to improve, which is the reason people post work here. And, personally I think you have allot to learn, as everyone else here. Also, to even be able to work with people, you need to be able to handle feedback, which is as important as listening to your own ideas.

As for the picture, I think Oscar Alex just said soermthing very reasonalble. I like the drawing, as everyone else. But, to me it looks like you are only capable of drawing on face in on angle (45 deg left) and one body with some differences (45 deg left) since all your girls are the same. I don't say this to offend you, since I think they look very good. but I think you personally should take this critiscm seriously, because I don't think you are learning much from doing this over and over again. So, since you said you do this for youself, then nothing is better to envolve your skills so you can become a bit more flexible (unless you are only using those girls you make for personal pleasure).... sorry for being so harsh, but I really think you needed to hear it, because you sound rather arrogant and blind of your own work from time to time.

Hey Fallen looks good as always. I guess nobody notices that in each of your pics you actually do try a different technique. (i.e. the texture of the skirt)

By the way guys... Stan Lee is not an artist. He is a writer\editor\producer\something else. Your thinkin maybe Jack Kirby or John Buscema. The early artists. Not sure who draws the comic now, but that's beside the point.

Keep postin though Fallen.

hey Fallen. like you art a lot, but i think oscar's comment was harmless. he was just pointing out what he saw. he did say it was cool, just said it looked like most of your other girls.

well anyway. i like your site and all the stuff on it. just dont take the comments people make so personaly
