without a drawing pad????
i know that they produce awesome images (if the user can do it) bu ti dont have one and it isnt in my budget to get one at the moment...
oh btw, this is my first post so hello to everyone...

as you can see in one of my recent images, i cant really draw anything free hand so it has to be all realistic stuff...
some criticism on this one would be good though...

I'm more comfortable using a tablet over a mouse, but I'm also more comfortable using a pen or a pencil over a tablet. I don't think the tablet produces good images, it just depends on what you're more comfortable with. I can sketch better with pen/pencil than with my tablet.
As for that pic... It's nicely composed... But you need to practice making pics of your own. Then you'll really start to feel proud of your work, and others will appreciate it more. Hope to see more from you soon.

thank you for the criticism...
i think i have gotten into art the exact opposite way most people have...
ever since i got photoshop, making interfaces and stuff for websites has been my life, but now i like sketching on a pad and stuff (although i suck)...

mmm i am much the same as you
i have done webdesign and graphics for that, now i am doing digital art graphics, well pictures and drawings ;o)

well ill be damned... 1/2/84 is my g/f's birthdate too... heh
the sword is nothing spectacular, believe me, it's just going to go along with a medieval character that i am planning on doing, and its not even doe yet, but here it is anyway...
