Holy crap that sucked. I'm never redesigning again. Well at least not for a long time, it's way too much work.

Anyways, I added some drawings and things that you might want to browse around. But then again, they're kinda sucky so maybe not... The design isn't anything mind blowing or detailed, but it's simple and does the job, tell me what you think.

What I really wanted to know is what's the load time like? Not too bad I hope.

Well, cyas later.

mmmm, a fairly nice page, of course i never saw your first page so i can't comment on the difference, It has a nice colour contrast throughout the page. nice graphics and nice layout however a few minor flaws, the layout stuffs up on different resolutions regardless of the selection u make at the beginning, try using tables to make all images work together ) and a few graphics are not showing so just go through and check ) other then that

a job well done.

Hey thanx starman. How does the layout stuff up? What res are you running at? I really need to know these things so I can fix them. When I try to use tables it always seems to leave a gap between images, even when i set the border to 0.

Oh and about the graphics that stuff up, well I have no idea how to fix that. I checked the links and they're all in order. I tried uploading the files again but I can't figure it out at all. Oh well, thanx for your input. Anymore?

Oh and can someone give me advice about how to get all my images in tables. I tried that, but the images don't match up nicely.

Hey Jason I really like the re-design. You accomplish the simple, classy layout very well. I'm at 1024x768 and all the tables and everything seem to be working and look fine to me.. what exactly are you guys referring to?

nice new layout and design you got there.. it looks really cool and cartoony.. but uh i think you have to fix your site cos some parts are a bit disaligned at the resolution i'm using (1200x1600) you could redesign it so that the site automatically resizes when stretched

Hey JasonN....
Love the new design. Very cartoonish/simplistic..gives it overall a very happy mood.

However, one thing. For people like me who use large resolutions (1600x1200 and higher) some of the layers become disaligned. I think the easiest way to solve this would be to have a new window open that is a preset size (such as 800x600) and that can't be resized. This way, the page will look exactly the same for everyone who looks at it.

Great job.

"When I try to use tables it always seems to leave a gap between images, even when i set the border to 0."

cellspacing=0 cellpadding=0 should knock those nasty lil gaps out of your tables.

Oh, and one more thing. The "Logfile" bar looks fucked. You might wanna look in to the html there.

I KNOW YOUR PROBLEM WITH THE IMAGE SPACING...

It's actually the spaces between the tags, meaning that between each cell there can't be any spaces...
i.e.

</table> <table> is wrong, and
</table><table> is right...

That will fix the pesky little problem...

Okay, thanks Starman, nicole, dennison, Stolln, Striker, CeRbErO and CYPHER (don't ask me why I listed the names) for the help and comments! The html and tables advice everyone gave has been a REAL big help.

When I get time, I'll fix up the layout for the whole page, but in the meantime I have to do some home work.

Cyas later!

hey jason, the layout does look really nice. I agree though, it's just debugging though. also, you can get rid of resolution conflicts by using <table width=100%> and setting some cells to certain pixel widths and such. I think a good example of this would be my url: http://surphun.quadrent.net
I used a LOT of tables on that stinker. it should look good at every resolution....anyway, it looks great. it's quite original, and I like the header idea.

Okay, thanks for the table tip surphun. I'll keep it in mind. Oh and I checked out your site and it's very original and very cool!
Well, I guess tables is the only way to go....
Thanks for your feedback!
