What are the advantages of an USB graphics tablet over a serial port tablet? I have a fairly old PC(233 Mhz) without USB port, but want to upgrade in maybe half a year. But I have the possibility to get a graphics tablet NOW, and I'm looking forward a lot to it. Is it in any way possible to use an USB tablet without USB port(an adapter, f.e.) or is the advantage over serial not so big anyway?

Bringing this back to top, and asking yet another question. What does the "menu strip" WACOM shows on it's pics of the Intuos series do? Is it for quickyl switching tool and brush size, or something else?

Alaskin, yes they are configurable shortcut 'keys'. I never use them though.

You could by a pci-usb card, meaning a pci card that has usb plugs on it.
Im very happy with my Wacom Graphire USB.

In answer to your question about the buttons, they are shortcut buttons. I use the lower one as CTRL-Z (undo) and the upper one as double-click.
