Alright, the @$$hole at the local computer store wants me to shell out an extra $5(total $105) for the Wacom Graphire 5x4 USB over the PS2 version which is 100 bucks...Not like I am petty or anything, but could someone tell me the difference between the precission and use of system resources when in comes to a PS2 tablet or a USB one???

Thanks

The Cypha

as far as I know USB has a higher refresh rate meaning smoother mouse/or tablet pen movement and precision.

Also it's an easier install, you just plug it in and pop in the drivers CD and you'll be ready, PS2 requires a reboot, not that big of a deal but it's a nice extra.

another nice feature of USB is that you can use the tablet on both the pc and mac, which is very useful for digital artists...i'd definitely spring for the usb

Also, the usb one will last you a lot longer as USB is a new format. Future computers will most definitely have USB support, so after an upgrade, you'll know you can still use your palette.

Plus USB doesn't require a damn power adapter.
