Ok as much as I know everyone doesn't want to see another wacom topic, I am encountering problems that I can not solve. Oh and I searched the board thoroughly and still couldn't find an answer.
I just got my new graphire tablet and it is soooo slooow. Not just in photoshop but if I use the mouse or the pen anywhere the cursor moves so slow and jittery. I tried to adjust the wacom settings but this didn't help either. Even tried using the tablet as far away from my monitors as possible so they wouldn't interfere and it was still slow. Heres my set up
USB graphire
Windows 2000
Dual celeron 400
128mb ram
20gig harddrive
dual monitor setup using a voodoo3 3000 and an ati mach64
wacom drivers version 4.51 (latest drivers)
I didn't think it would be that my system is too slow to handle it so I have no clue as to what is causeing this. Could I need an updated win2k usb driver? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

According to wacom.com this could be your problem:
Q: After installing the Wacom driver the cursor moves very slowly.
A: This problem is most commonly caused by older video drivers that have problems in high resolution modes and tablets. This is due to the amount of data that is being produced by the tablet. The Wacom tablet produces about 4 times as much data as the standard mouse and the video drivers cannot keep up with the amount of data the tablet is putting out. There are a couple things that may help:
1. Do not run with an animated cursor, or enlarged cursors.
2. If you can, run at or under 256 colors.
This is a video driver problem. We recommend that you check with your video card manufacture for current Windows drivers.
Kind of a sucky solution, the only other possible cure is mess around with your monitors refresh rate, that may help (according to wacom again.)
If this doesnt work, i'm stumped.
