Aight,
I may be the only one here, but there is something that I see in macs with Photoshop (and all other programs on it) that I really wish i can do on my pc...Application Background...You know, Photoshop restricts your canvas window into being in the application window where the menu is...
It sucks, i cant even see my kick ass wallpaper because of the stupid gray area...On macs the menu bar is on the top of the screen so you dont need a app background...
...Does anyone know of any plug-ins or shell editors to fix this...or is there a setting im overlooking???

If I were you Id leave it as it is. Grey is a neutral color, it wont alter your color perception. Do you know what I mean? |

Uh, yeah, i doubt that there is a plug in to change that. It is pretty much how the PC does stuff. On the mac, all the application options become available on that white task bar at the top, but the PC opens an app window for everything it does and the same options that would be at the top on a mac are at the top of the window that is opened on the PC. So your work pretty much needs to stay in there as far as teh PC is concerned. The only thing i would imagine you could do is to find a plug in that makes that grey completely transparent like i think you can do on linux shells.
That is all i gotsta say. |

why don't you maximize the inner window,. then resize the out as you see fit?
this configuration is set when they create the application, they would have to re-write it in order to make it work differently, . but if you send this in to their support e-mail, maybe they'll change it for the next update?

Ok, first of all:
THAT'S MY NICK!!! Dangit.
On a PC, you can't do the Mac thing; it's a built-in Windows function that limits the workspace to the application window, which is screwed up, but that's one of the many nasty things you get with it...
::can't wait until they release PS for Linux...moo-haha...:: |
