[Chapel]

I've just recently started converting some old sketches I did into color using PS. I'm not the greatest colorist, but its a start. Tell me what you think.



By the way, if this looks familiar it was inspired by the rpg Rifts. Kevin Long was the artist in most of the books, and I liked his style.

Hey Chapel, looks cool man, I like it. Remind's me of Guyver Bio Booster Armour. I think It could do with some darker shading/shadows to make it look more solid tho...

not bad Chapel. Couple things I'd like to suggest tho

The highlights on the main character are too diffuse, make them harder. As it is, it looks like he's made of plastic =)

The cloud background! ack! Hehe, might wanna try going with all black or something. Oh,the cords in the neck area can use a bit more shading.

Anyhow, its pretty good Chapel =) Keep it up

Thanks for the input guys. I threw in that cloud background at the last second.. I hated it too, but I liked it better than just plain black. Didn't feel like putting a real background together yet.
