| I was just wondering if all of you digi artists in school right now could give me the "title" of your major, so I can start checking some stuff out, i.e. colleges and such...that is of course if engineering doesn't work out.. |

At the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, NY, i'm listed quite simply as a "Computer Art Major". I get a good old B.F.A. like pretty much everyone else in the school.
Less than two months to go! woo!.. wait, no.. no .. thesis project due! AAAAAAAAHHH!!!!

Well 3D animation is my focus and my actual thesis section. However, the web designers,producers and electronic installation designers all get the same degree  Dont be mad though, a BFA aint so bad! At least i didnt actually major in fine arts :P

Does anyone know the Vancouver Film School? If you do, do you know of any other schools like that in North America?

| actually i live about 10 blocks from the Vancouver Film School.. I usually pass it on the way to my girlfriends house.. im not sure where you live.. so I cant recommend any other schools.. another great one is CDIS.. i think its ranked 3 in North America it stands for Centre for Digital Imaging and Sound.. its about 30 mins away in the car from me.. im looking into that as well.. same education for half the price. |

Whoa! someone say CDIS?! .. i go there. im between semesters right now. its a nice school. good teachers .. usually. im in the game design program. the web site is www.artschool.com
it may be a little expensive, but they have top of the line computers and programs and there always upgrading and trying to keep on top. you can also take a tour of the place if your curious. |
