Hi my name is Rick Santos.
My project is redo vector draw in some of the most important works of Leonardo da Vinci, and then engrave with a laser machine in a birch wood of 1/64 inch, a very thin wood.
These drawings were made 520 years ago in paper and in time lost its beauty and originality due to wear of the media.
Today they are stored in galleries to try to keep their originality and prevent wearing, and rarely exposed to the public.
With the possibility of vector drawing can keep the art of Da Vinci immortalized in a digital media, that has no risk of getting lost, which will keep its quality forever.
One of the drawings, already almost done and now you can see the result.
The initial project are 2 of Leonardo�s drawings, but if the project is successful in funding, iwill add two more drawings.
