Its 12 minutes, all 3d (mostly), made by one guy.
Make it full screen.

Yup.

There is a making of video which shows the models.
I think some things like the human photographer and some clouds were composited.

Should have posted this before

By the figure's stance/movements, I think the photographer is modeled too...
(though a much better job than I could do, of course [/understatement]) Smile

I was thinking the same thing too. The movements were fairly minimal.
Then I saw the making video, there is a scene with the photographer and when it shows the models there is no human model. Not absolute proof of course.

Very interesting guy. Alex Roman is not his real name. He uses it as a pseudonym. Real name is Jorge Seva, born in Spain.

Another Alex Roman piece. Looks like he landed a job.

Advert for a counter top company.

http://vimeo.com/15630517

No "making of" video yet. So no way to tell what is 3D and what isnt.

Edit:

Alex: "The funny thing is the lack of agency here so i had to suggest and finally made the whole creative process up from the very initial concept to the end.

As for the tech details goes: all are full-cg shots made with 3dsmax, Vray, AE and edited with Premiere as usual.

I really hope you like it."

Someone needs to hand this guy a movie contract.

Seriously impressive, both technically and for its cinematography.
