Great work! I like the design, the concept, the placement, the rendering, the palette. All is great. The only issue I have with it, mainly because I have this issue in my work and I am always looking to improve it, is the light. Or rather the falloff of the lights (or dark or halftone).
It looks the same in all lit parts. For instance, the lit part of the hip on the left is very similar to the breasts and face. The size of the lit area isn't enough to make it look different, like light has lost energy, or like the lit area has a different look, texture, shape and distance from the other areas. I know this is weird, I felt it was weird when it was pointed out to me also, and it still is, that's why I am tackling it, but I am also seeing it in many works. It's a part of what seperates good work from great work I suppose.
It's still a great piece though. Kudos. _________________ "Don't judge a book by it's cover" -Frank Frazetta |
