if you did that on purpose, why not remove it, just makes can't read it anyways

One thing I might suggest is rewording the phrases in the portfolio section that go

"This section contains graphic design works I created in my classes or on my own time"

1. It's redundant - we already know we're in the graphic design section because we clicked on it.
2. It doesn't sound very professional. If it's not professional work, don't broadcast that fact. (I mention this because you had that section about being for hire)
3. Try just a simple header instead that reads "Graphic Art"

And so on with the other sections.

I like the colors on the page.

I don't like the modified photo on the frontpage. It looks like a modified family snapshot, and borders too much between organic and geometric such that it doesn't match the aesthetics of the rest of the site.
However, I think the aesthetics of the rest of the site are tied together very well.

Doesn't fit on 640x480, but who uses that any way?

Well, that's all my humble opinion. Keep up the nice work.

thanks for the input. i realized the other day i didnt like the blurred text(i didnt get the effect i was going for) so i removed it. i think it looks alot better now.
