im working on something like this
anyway im out of ideas ,worked on this for 15 hours now(just that you know,i have never worked on any image more than 3h)
any suggestions would be awesome! |

Cool image sir. It seems like your aiming most of your focus on the person. If you want to enhance the painting, maybe pull up some reference images of the trees and other things within the painting in order to refine them. Same goes for the clouds, it seems like 14.5 hours was spent on the figure, and the rest was for the background. |

i think you should establish your main forms with bold strokes and set up a suitable colour scheme first. all that detailing in the background rocky parts, the trees, the clouds...... it doesn't look unified as a picture. start from big and simple and work ur way down to the tiny itty bitty strokes.
also, the figure, i thought maybe it was a photo cut out. did you paint it from a photo? for me it doesn't make sense to paint from photograph if u intend to make it look like the photo (exception: doing copy work for purely educational purposes). you should change the light, or maybe subtly alter skin colour. etc.
the headdress looks a bit tilted. why not draw some reference lines on top of the figure to lineup ornaments and drapery?
