Started as a mindless acrylic doodle. I liked the gesture of it so I kept on painting. Used painters tape and spray paint to fill in the background, and got zany ideas about achieving screen effects using household groceries. Ended up using sugar to get a speckled mask effect, and its actually got a pretty cool texture to it in person. Recommended. The rest is a bit o PS noodling. |

Sweet! (Yeah I couldn't help but pull this one.) That sugar seems to have worked fine indeed. Appealing picture overall.
Only thing I would've changed is the position of the hand. Move it down a bit so the top line of it doesnt coincide with the jaw/chin line.
Quite nice to come back for a visit here after ages and have 3 threads of you up to look at. |

Agree with Glitterbug, I'd aslo likke to add that mabe a temperature shift is in order. I think you could isolate your warmest warms to the hand to really push the hand forward. |
