October Theme: "CIRCLE OF LIFE"
This month's task is to artistically interpret the theme, "Circle of Life".
Post your work-in-progresses, ideas, and experiments as they come to life, and the final images before the end of the month. Have fun with it.
Edit: is it really October already? _________________ Art Links Archive -- Artists and Tutorials

The idea I have is some kind of gate that creates life, people carry their dead through the portal and thus they will be reborned.
lol kind of corny perhaps but literally = circle of life!.
Need more sketches. Need a good angle this time:

Mattias, that's interresting idea, I am looking forward how are you going to fight this Btw, this composition seems to be, hmm, unussual but interresting. I wouldn't dare tu put something right in front of the subject. I don't want to pretend I understand your aim, I am interrested in your explanation, thanks in advance
My idea is to use the power of the volcano as a lifegiving force, whether it is crater, or a ring of volcanos, or a huge volcanic cloud in that shape, whathever reminds it. This composition doesn't shows this that much, nevermind

I have a complex way of looking at life.
Get the feeling we imprison ourselves with everything we have been taught. For me it is as ground pillars hence they are made that way in the piece I made.
One is the way how we have been taught and the other is how it really is. Chains are holding us to the thinking.
Thing is, we can never and will probably never get the real because you react a certain way because that is code given to you.
You cannot undo the thinking about how something is red.
If you ask me I have been starting to question atoms, seems wrong to me.
Might be debate-able lol.
I have been thinking alot of existence and I don't wanna bore you with it.
My finished version.
"Edit" - btw I wanted poster feeling on this one.
oh well yea.

Lemur, that's a great picture.
When I posted the "circle of life" theme I thought it would be interpreted in the Lion King sense, of birth-life-death, but it was cool to see those words evoke some very different images. _________________ Art Links Archive -- Artists and Tutorials |
