Maybe I should have kids? I haven't done that yet.

But if I have them they may have to starve a little bit and perhaps I'll send them on the streets to be beggars. At least it will be funny for a while!

I'm having problems deciding what to study. Something to do with arts or not. I'm just blowing it all out of proportion so I can keep delaying the decision or something. Feels safer and much more boring studying something more mainstream. what I really wan't is some job that is a decent mix really. Suggestions? Graphic designer, Architect? What else is there?

There is nothing to achieve in life except inner peace - I believe. That's what you should search for. However as long as you're searching it outside of your own inner world you won't find anything. People search for happyness and peace, everyone! However they/we seem to mistaken peace with power, money, stuff, maybe even our soulmate.

I second that - move to Sweden. What the hell, you're bored anyway, right? If you tire of that, move to another country. There's plenty of things to see and stuff to do as long as you don't think you have to plan it out in advance.

Goals will own you and achieving them will not bring happiness. If you have any, make sure your goals are unattainable.

Of course I was sarcastic about destroying the neo-communist Zeitgeist hippies, I could care less about them.

But even though within a myriad of their blahbalicious, idealistic ideas there are a few practical ideas, the movement will not be supported by the public. There are more loopholes in their fantastic utopia than you can shake a stick at. But I'll keep it short.. They dismiss that everyone wants different things from life and has different goals. Not everyone wants to know about other countries and be creative. Some people actually want to do monotonous jobs and live a simple life. And they even talk about the struggle of light and dark when they talk about religions. Religions are a form of "zeitgeist" too. They were created because people needed them. The international corporations are a zeitgeist, the Zeitgeist movie is a zeitgeist. What's meant to happen will happen. But what these guys want is just one side of the coin (creation, vs creation/destruction). They want everyone to smile and be happy in sunny rays. WTF? Who wants that? Life is laughing and crying, starving and being full, being happy and being upset. What they dream about is Equilibrium (watch the film). Simply put - unattainable due to hard-wired laws of physics. Maaaayme attainable in the virtual existence which I mentioned earlier, but even then it will all be the same principles. Besides, the complete virtual world won't begin for like another 150 years (when did they say was the beginning of the new age?).

The Zeitgeist film is good - it's entertaining and has good ideas. But I'm afraid that in the modern world of information people will not follow these young Che Guevara/Vladimir Lenin wannabe social partisans.

They can of course prove me wrong! All they have to do is establish their system in a small country or an island and see if it works.... hmm, wait. Don't tell them I said that. They may actually use my idea and create another Cuba or something... Which wouldn't be too bad, it was all worth it because of the Buena Vista Social Club CD! But like I said - everyone wants different things. That's why countries exist and they get united in "empires" or "unions" from time to time but later they still break up and the cycle continues.

And the reason for their dreaming is because these geniuses are not "street smart". Both Lenin and Che came from wealthy families. They saw great poverty and injustice around them, so being highly compassionate intelligent beings they decided to help their fellow compatriots, and everyone on the planet too! (great dreamers dream on a great scale). Except they've never had to actually work for a living. It makes a big difference in the whole mindset of an individual. Man, I should know, I lived with a guy I considered a friend who blasted me for doing "evil capitalist business" in China. Yet he lived and studied all his life on his father's money (which were of course made by his father doing business in Europe so wtf?)

People make up excuses to make things that they know are wrong OK in their minds.

It's ok though, life wouldn't be interesting if everyone was perfect like me.
But I'll tell y'all the secret of a happy life.

The secret is not in free stuff or comfortable life, it's in finding yourself. Whether you're a musician or a serial killer - be it. Find out what you really are and then be the best in it. Don't listen to your parents, reports of high competition in the field, scary stories of hardships and poor life. Life is not about having enough to eat - that's raw survival. Life is about life. You can study medicine for 20 years and if it's not you you'll still be a shitty doctor. You might become rich and you might even trick your patients and yourself into believing that you're actually good but [/i]you personally[/i] would never be genuinely happy.

Or maybe not. lol
