Hi everybody!
Im sort of new to Sijun, Ive never posted anything, but Ive looked at all amazing art here... Now I want to get involved more:P

I am hugely inspired by all environments posted here, especially by all the swedish artists, Im swedish too Razz Im nowhere near you guys, but to see what you can paint really makes me want to practice myself.

Well, my image is painted over a scanned drawing with the use of some textures and brushes, but mostly the round default one >_<
Im happy with the rendering, but the rest is a mess, like focal points (the lit box why?) the ambigious storytelling, and so on, hmm, Im very hard on myself :/ I guess it all depends on how you look at it.

Please tell me what you think Smile

Hr r bilden!

this one and the speedie u posted are not showing.

From what I saw of the op here you had a problem with the cloth at the stairs, there's a confusion whether the cloth hangs or cover the entrance to the stair or if it is supposed to hang down the stairs.
I assume the latter looking at the fluorescent light, but nevertheless you have a problem there in your pic, the light on the cloth aswell.
I'm on a laptop so I cannot comment on the color or brightness of the picture, sorry.

Oh no, it may be bacuse I changed the image hosting to picasa, maybe its only me who can see it.... I will put it back on my own hosting for now. thanks a lot for telling me!

Hmm, cool, something I hadnt thought of... maybe it would help by readding a handrail infront of it, so you can clearly see how its descending..
woops, yeah, I didnt think of the light source with them, bad Razz

It might be a little to flat and not contrasty enough..

thanks Wink

Really nice. Love your rendering!

Maybe that crack on the stairs to the left is a little flat, looks a bit like blood or oil sitting on top of the stairs. Not really important though heh.

UGLY and choboroy: thanks guys!

choboroy: yeah, I always thought it was a bit too flat... maybe a large chipped of piece would be nice.
