Critics wanted!

Medium: digital, extremely high resolution (>100Mpix). The digital files have been printed on canvas (used Epson 9800).
Size: 1 and 3 - 32"x40", second one: 40"x40".

You can find some explanation of the technology on my site.

I remember when you were developing that software.

The images have an appeal. Sort of reminds me of a 2D Kenneth Huff, with the procedural abstract.

My main product is a dynamic painting, such kind of artwork includes LCD screen and a system unit. I consider it as a new kind of art.
Also I have two co-products, there are static instance of the dynamic painting (giclee prints on canvas) and DVD that contains a record of the dynamic painting (1 hour). It can be bought on our website (www.SanBaseStudio.com).

Nice work! This seems like a great opportunity to explore the concept of fractals. I love the colors and shapes. My crit would be to try to find a way to integrate texture and shape because right now you have some nice relationships going on between the lines and the shapes but the texture feels like a flat overlay on top of everything and distracts from the design in my opinion. Maybe get rid of texture altogether? I see these as celebrations of line, color and shape. The second one is my favorite.

You are right, but the problem is that it's not in 3D, so it's not easy to determine the 3D geometry of the objects.

One more image (I like this one Smile ):

Yes, I print static images on canvas (Epson 9800, the master files have resolutions of more than 100Mpx).
You can find the info on my website ( http://www.sanbase.com/art - just click on any image that you like)

We have two options: the whole system including a system unit or a 1 hour recording on DVD. Soon there will also be a Blu-ray option.
Take a look at http://www.sanbasestudio.com
