I just received a laptop I won off ebay (HP Pavilion ze5700) and it appears to not have any wireless adapter built-in, contrary to the auction description. I tried digging around in the device manager, network connections...etc, and I don't see anything resembling a wireless adapter. So, how can I be 100% sure that the laptop is missing a built-in wireless adapter? |

if it has built-in wireless, they'll be a wireless button on it either on the side, or on the top near the power key so you can turn wireless on and off |

looks like you should have looked into the Laptop before parting with your money, so many people saying that its a PoS, also the wireless is referring to wireless bluetooth.. so you can connect to bluetooth devices, headsets, PDA's printers etc |

I tried to search for the ze5700 and I couldn't really find any reputable reviews online--it was kind of strange. The specs looked fine in print and the seller had good scores so I went for it. I guess I'll have to fork out a bit of cash for a wireless adapter. The fucking thing also came with less RAM and HD space than the description so I'm filing a dispute with Paypal. |
