Spreading a little of the learning love and just posting about the video tutorials over at Conceptart.org. Anyone here bought any of these?
I've bought Greg Manchess' oil painting tutorial Above The Timberline and loved every bit of it. He's got alot of great advice throughout the video, and while it is traditionally based, the concepts and tips are essential in all facets of art. It's definitely worth several viewings, and is just good to have in the background while creating your own visions.
I've also bought one of Jason Chan's spiffy sketch tutorials, the one based in Painter, and I still find it amusing that these are referred to as sketches @:-P He's just recently released one on Style Exploration, which I'm meaning to pick up, that looks pretty kick arse (there's a trailer for it here on Youtube).
They sell for around US$15. Stupidly cheap for the sheer amount of golden value out of them. But yeah, anyone else bought any? Thoughts? _________________ Brain
