Hi:

I'm working on getting better at painting/lighting. I used one light source.

Can you give me advice on how to improve this? ( I'm not worried about the persons anatomy being perfect, For this I'm focusing on colors/lights )

( I can blend it more, but I wanted to know if there's something drastic wrong with it first )

If you're trying to improve your rendering skills, you're making life hrd on yourself by trying to color that drawing. You'd develop much faster if your first ~20 paintings were copies/studies of photos/scenes that already have true values. You can't learn how to paint good values on imagination alone, you need to get experience with real values first, and over time you'll learn how they work. And then you can apply that learning to any drawing.
