This is a small version of a digital painting I worked on a bit last night.
Its far from finished, and some areas are still a little sketchy, cut I think its basis is good. Im planning on putting it in an arctic setting.
What do you think? Any suggestions?

We're probably all too busy painting our own stuff..
It looks good, I especially like the robot's head. Just a couple of things... What is the man looking at? And why does the robot have a coat? :P

It's a bit too late for this pic... but I think a more dynamic camera angle would have made the pic a lot better... it just seems a bit too *set up* and feels a somewhat unnatural. But other than that I think you have a great start.
I like the action in the man... he looks lifelike (well aside from the fact that he is freezing...) The robot seems to be a bit too statuesque though.
Anyway... thats just what I saw.

arctic setting you say? wouldn't the dude be kida cold? but if you are doing that.. would be interesting to put in some snow falling, with a bit of wind... just a thought>. does it snow up there?? well.
robot's head is well shaded, also the guy's left arm looks good. everything else is still in progress i would assume..
oh yeah, also if it's in a cold setting the guy would be breathing out steam >whatever, from his mouth. could look nice if done right.

Because he's just that cool!

Seriously though, its part of the story. Im not sure why. These are characters from a story my brother has been writing. Ill post an update of this image in a few hours, since Im working on it now, just to let you all critique it again.

the replies have been getting pretty slim, because of the fact that many peopel subconsciensly <sp> don't want to get stuck in a flame war,. at least this is my opinion,. i like the piece,. it loks a bit flat where the robot'coat is concerned that throws the image off a little, but other than that it is coming along nicely,.
also, i've noticed there are so many posts coming up that it is taking me a few hours to catch up, and well. somedays i don't feel like reading many posts more than once, and also if i don't have a good comment for an image, i won't post anything,.i could say "nice image" but everyone else would already say that,.
