Ay,
here is my entry for the ArtSpace contest at CGSociety.
It was especially created for it.
Completely done in Photoshop, no modelling, countless hours refining everything.
I partially painted this on my new Cintiq 12WX Using the ruler on it is pretty slick!
And here are some close-up details, @ about 75%:

Always been a fan of your speedpaints Hideyoshi, every new one from you blows me away. Awesome to see you finish something to this level of polish. |

thank you very much, all of you! I truly appreciate all the nice feedback!
Sijun is most likely the best art community there is with awesome artists all together!
notic: in fact I used a ruler for the perspective grid on those DS sketches! ![Smile](images/smiles/icon_smile.gif) |

brilliant piece! Composition is nice, lighting is moody! Design is lovely!
The only crit I have is that some parts look like they have a black outline around them - esp. fg left. And a bit too much gratuitous use of absolute black in the fg too. Otherwise good job! _________________ http://baustaedter.com/ |
