Hey guys!
Some of you have been asking me a while ago to put up a hires version of some of my images. Well - I put up 'Son of Lodge' in it's original resolution - it's a whopping 5400x4000. But I had to Jpeg it - otherwise I would have been about 40MB instead of 1.5 - but it still looks pretty good.
I recommend downloading it into Photoshop, because in the browser you can't really view it.
Lemme know what you think of my sloppy style
You can access the image through my mainpage.
Thanks
Loki

Hi Loki
Hey... what can I say, I LOVE YOUR WORK!
This image, has really taught me a few things about working with high-rez artwork!
I thought, though, that there was a greater level of detail going into high-rez artwork!
But after seeing yours, and Craig Mullins artwork... I am a bit more settled
I just love the painterly style, so much like a real painting... broad strokes, but a perfect, keen eye on detail and lighting!
I'm really glad to see/study work from such talented guys as you....

Bah, my ISP is too slow today...
Heh you must be print... ooops! i mean HIREZ FRIENDLY . On a slow machines (like my) hirez drawing is suked. After first 5 min i hear how my HDD starting to sing a song . And usually i've adding great level of details which will be lost in smaller samples, so i'm working in 1:1 scale :P.

Hey Loki
what can I say.. your style is so radically diffirent from mine (strange considering we both have a long pixel-history )
Great painting! Quality stuff.. it has a Tim White feeling to it.
Have you ever printed out your stuff to a large canvas? Just wondering how your style would look.
Keep cranking 'em out like this, I'm hooked...

Hey guys - thanks y'all!
I want to work on my own stuff again, but I'm too busy at work right now ... oh well - better too much than no work at all.
Leo: download the image as a file if you can. Otherwise, there's always the 'normal' sized version of the image.
Mongoose: where's my freakin money???? thx
Danny: thanks - I've tried to get away from my old way of painting for a long time. I think painting loose is the only way to succeed in my kinda job (mattes). And it's really liberating(!) to finally have made a step there. I still got a long way to go, actually as you know it never stops ... I also have not locked down on a specific procedure yet - which I need to find soon, to reach consistency in my work.
I'm printing one or the other image every once in a while, but not recently. I think inkjets are really nice for their price, but still not too cool - I've got to check into this more
What other image would you guys like to see in hires if any? Lemme know, I'll put it up ...

I would love to see "Stranded In A Cold Place" in a hirez version if it isn't too much trouble for ya.
That'd be awesome

I was like to see them all at original size. Yes, all.

Damn... thanks, Loki. I spent forever zooming in and out of that pic last night! It's really cool being able to see it up close like that. Thanks again!
