Hey guys, been lurking a little here to and from, never posted anything though. These are also over at caorg but I thought maybe there's a possibility of getting more and different crits if I post on more than one place.
Love the stuff I see here, a lot of it with some great quality!
Ok so here goes, newest on top:
Interior, an excercise in not getting to much into detail and work reasonably efficiently:
Pretty much a speedsketch, made this first in greyscale and then with some overlays and noodling on that:
Not a speedsketch, it is derived from a sketch in my Moleskine with clamlike stuff that can shut tight if needed:
Maybe a bit difficult to read, it is supposed to be like a meteor or something that hit the ground in the lower left and that starts terraforming the landscape and stuff y'know :
An exercise in trying to come up with a natural looking color scheme from my head and trying to get at sense of big stuff floating about in the air:
Ok so that's that, I would love me some constructive criticism and pointers and all that =)
Hiya and so long

the first one is really nice! Very minor pespective issues here and there (columns), but nothing that would throw off the image. The depth is great! |

AndreeWallin - Tackar!
Hideyoshi - Thanks, you are right about the perspective issues, the basic shapes of the pillars are copied and I didn't prioritize (sp?) those ellipses, I thought it looked "good enough". Hopefully it is as you say, that it doesn't detract too much from the picture...
