hi guys!

i posted this in speedpaint thread, but now i decided to push this a bit further and make a detailed painting of it (my first one ever)

so i would really love to hear what you guys think about initial idea and composition ?

currently its just a random sci-fi set.. with a big canyon and a very crowded city inside of it. with two guys in front watching down the city.. i wanted them to look like explorers who just discovered this city.. but i dont know how to show that. currently they dont look very surprised..
not really a never seen idea, but i think it will be fine to train painting.

since i really never painted something detailed before.. please gimme a hint what resolution would be the best to add details.

changed layout a little bit.. i wasnt very happy with perspective..
