Wow how long did those take you and did you have a model to work from? Also what size paper did you use? My paper size is always 18 by 24in. I can't stand drawing in a sketch book, because the paper size is always so small.
In my figure class we always do 2min poses to start with, and I can never get the anatomy right. I also have this insane habit of chopping off peoples heads. I was wondering how people start a drawing.. in the middle of figure, at the head, or sketch all over? I think I always start in the middle. Here is a prime example of why you should think about the whole space before you start drawing...
Although there is a few inches on either side and bottem, there is only an inch on top at most!
And this wasn't a quick sketch

Well, I don't know all too much about this, but I can tell you one thing. While looking at nude drawings on places like tbl.org one day with my girlfriend, she kind of piped up and told me that she thought the female body was a beautiful thing. However, when you make the breasts that big, it begins to look rediculous and almost disgusting. Those breasts look damn big in your first sketch, and if there was a reference model, well, then, I apologize, but if you're taking that any further, just size them up. |

Well first off these we not done from models and i know the first one is not how real tits look (just how we wish they looked) we were messing around in my story boarding class it was for fun .. all the pics took about 5 min each
as for drawing them, they were done in my sketch book , i dont usualy carry around my 18x24 newsprint(does not fit in the back pack too well ) but when i draw i see the pic in my head and the first part i see that is were i start.. diff for each pic, and i had a class like you have now , a quick sketch , this is one of my pics from a 2 min |

Just wondering... in that very first picture, is she sitting on a toilet? If so.. man, it REALLY looks like she's enjoying it.
Nice sketches though ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/smile.gif) |

Hmm, after a second glance... perhaps she just needs a laxative? |

I generally try to sketch out the flow of the figure first. I'm no master by far, but I've found loose lines used to define the directions the shapes flow in (They do flow, if you look at them) make drawing people, especially in more dynamic poses a lot easier. |
