I'll share a bird story with you-

I grew up with a rather large, loud Cockatoo named Bosley that talked nonstop. He used to make this funny "whirring" noise all the time and nobody could figure out what he was imitating for years. One day when my mom was vacuuming in the other end of the house, she stopped the vacuum and could hear him making this sound and it clicked. All that time he'd been imitating the sound of the vacuum cleaner.

You should look for a video on youtube. Their bird copied everything - from phone calls to laughing. I bet it gets strange after a while when you're not sure if it's real or not.
