Man, I had it all pre-loaded and ready to play when it was unlocked last night. Then my computer takes a fucking dive and I have to do a repair install. Tonight, the saga will continue.
Who's enjoying EP2 currently? |

I'm not really into HL, Portal seems pretty interesting though. Anyone played it yet? Does it take long to complete the game?
Here's a little flash 2D Version, which is quite some fun:

It was awesome, they really upped the visuals in this one. There are some really incredible ingame dynamics theyre using for cinematics and such. fun and intense as always.
portal was really good too, its short but sweet. although i haven't played any of the bonus maps yet. |

I'm really looking forward to playing EP2. Need to finish some work before I'll allow myself that pleasure though.
That 2D Portal-alike is a fun little distraction though. _________________ Art Links Archive -- Artists and Tutorials |

I'm about an hour into the game and so far, I'm not getting that "OMIGOD" I'm loving this!" reaction that I always get from HL games, but I'm sure it'll come, as it always does with any HL game. Maybe I shouldn't be playing Bioshock at the same time, as they might cancel each other out. |

I loved all the orange box games!
I found EP2 to be the best part of the HL2 series (I played it all again from start to finish when EP2 came out) .
Portal was excellent, very humorous and clever.
Team fortress 2 is fun and has an awesome style! _________________ http://mv.cgcommunity.com/ |

I'm now further into EP2 and it's getting really intense (I'm now in the middle of hunting down all the Striders). Definitely picked up for me, which was a relief. I was worried that EP2 is where the magic starts to wear off for me. What was I thinking? Valve can do no wrong! |

I can't wait to play Ep2! Unfortunately I can't login to Steam since the University Network (through which I'm connected to the Internet) blocks the ports it uses. Really irritating.
I'm looking forward to going home for Christmas -- I plan to play through HL2 and Ep1 again, then go straight in to playing Ep2. The trailer(s) I saw a while back certainly looked awesome. _________________ www.ralphmanning.com |

loved episode 2,,, had several memorable moments of gameplay that really pulls yah into the game...
also had some of the coolest visual elements I can recall in the series... (especially that rocket launch at the end)... _________________ "They're toys. My friends are toys, I made them..."

Heh, I played it until you have to hunt the striders in the woods and got killed by those damn hunters all the time, they're too damn fast and efficient. Also, the game was kinda laggy on my old rig, so this sucks. Gonna play the rest of the game on the new one.
I think that EP2 has one of the coolest designed moments in the franchise: When you walk into the old abandoned outpost and the first hunters appear. you see them from down in the cellar, and when you get up again, you fight them in this absolutely lovely designed empty room with the concrete block in the middle. Made my mapper-heart go boom _________________ CA SB|Flickr |
