Hi everyone!

Im glad to stay here and become part of this forum.
Here is a sample of my stuff. It was made in Painter
and retouched in Photoshop only with mouse. http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Omega/1270/Sample.htm
In my website you will find the B/W version (just ink).
The character (Ogneeos) was created for my comic called
PRIMIGEN. Hope you like it !

VALZ

Welcome Valz!

I think your pic is great. The only suggestion I have is to do a little editing on his right pec, it seems a little too pointy to me. But overall, the pic is spectacular.

How long have you been working in Painter?

Wow... (out of breath)
I just checked out your website, your traditional work is marvelous!
I could praise it for an hour, so i'll just stop here

Very nice mouse work by the way, puts a lot of us tablet-freaks to shame!

Holy leaping terds!

I never looked at your page before, but I have looked now, and let's just say that there is a big yellow stain in my pants now

I too think that your traditional work is incredible. Have you been inspired by Jim Lee? Because you have a very similar style.

My favorite is: http://www.geocities.com/Area51/Omega/1270/Pinup03.jpg -- The expression on Wolverine's face is great! Keep it up man, you have some incredible talent.

Very nice stuff.

I didnt see any of the CG work there though?
Youve got an excellent sense of proportion, or should I say, appropriate disproportion.
Any art schooling, or self taught?

Thanks you guys for all your words!
This is my first serious work with Painter,
inspired by the master Richard Corben and his spectacular Denz.
Here are some answers:
- Im using Painter since three weeks ago. Its a
marvelous and powerfull program (specially with the
Dodge, Burn and Smudge effects).
- Jim Lee is "one" of my Gods of course.
- Art Schooling NO, only wath and learn.

Thats all for the moment. And thaks again.

Wow I'm impressed, I was about to have a mass of self-doubt and depression, but I've still got 3 years to catch up Does the face seem I little fuzy or undetailed to anyone else or did I just have to much to drink?
Do you use any kind of reference for your work or no? So how do you guys come up with this stuff in your head, just a lot of practice?

Your comic style is very impressive, Carlos. Not to mention your mad sequential art skills. I gotta ask.. have you worked in professional comics? If not, what's stopping you?
