Hi there !
I'm curently working on a new cover.
I like pretty much that kind of job
Painting the ocean and done some colour and level adjustment ...

I think I am with Suma here. First thing I thought of were icy mountains : )
I think you should eighter make everyhting look painterly OR photorealistic. A combination is very hard normally and distracts the viewer.
What makes everything alittlebit more difficult is the lighting on the photo. It's daytime while your stormy ocean seems to be going on at night,...
I like the idea tho.

Yey ! Thanks a lot max !
I will clean my water and change a bit the lighting too
Some days after having done that one, i really notice easily what is wrong.
My client is happy whith that, but for my personal challenge, i need to rework that water :p
