I need some thoughts on how to make the background really show off the girl. I like how the girl is coming along (not finished) but I am not happy with what I did with the background. Any thoughts? colors? effects?

Hey Piratepete,

There are a few ways to really have her pop,

You can desaturate the background more so she stands out better (this will eliminate our eye from loosing focus on her)

You can also change your colors a bit, Maybe keep her purple and redish (get rid of the green shirt) while making the background more of a green tint. Think coomplimentary colors. Maybe still desaturate the back ground more. You can have backgound the same color (hue, saturation) as her shirt but then you will most likely loose any depth and your area of focus.

Im rambling now sorry, hope this is any help Confused

She definitly pops more. The planet might be too bright, my eye keeps looking at the planet.

Reminds me of that movie Clockwork Orange. (I love that movie)

Cool stuff piratepete, I like her design.
