Don't even know if i should be posting this.
But this is DEFINITELY why i'll never believe anyone who says that a vicious animal is trained. Watch at your own risk. Pretty scary.

Hah, the comments on this one pretty much say what I think about that. Whoever is attacked by a wild animal because it is held in a cage just gets what he/she deserves, whether it's Roy Horn or these guys or Steve Irwin. It goes down to the smallest animals, even those not wild. My cat sits on my lap all day, purring like a madman, but as soon as I provoke him, he'll bite the shit out of me. You just don't fuck with animals. And if they're physically able to kill you in a split second, that rule exponentiates.
Too bad it isn't on youtube, but I once saw a documentary in which an orangutan captivates the reporter and threatens to break his neck. Every time the camera team moves closer, the reporter cries out "don't come closer, his grip gets harder". Sometime in the movie there's a comment that an orangutan can break a man's neck with two of his fingers. That was kinda cool. He got away though, after hours of captivity. The orang got away too. Pretty impressive. _________________ CA SB|Flickr |

A couple years back there was a story about a chimp some guy had that went crazy, bit off his owners nose and pulled off the guy's testicles. They put the chimp in one of those abused animal shelters for former circus animals, but the guy refused to let them euthanize the chimp saying that it was his own carelessness.
Respectable, but if a chimp pulled off my nads my next move would be pulling a trigger.
Jabo's right, though. You can NEVER truly trust an animal. Even the most docile dog can turn on you. I have a pretty large Iguana, and while it's VERY tame, I'd never trust it with children. I could handle it if it ever bit me, but I'd never set up a situation where it could injure a kid. |

Next thing you know we're watching a "Man vs. Giant Iguana" video. |

Humans prove to be pretty untrustworthy and behave randomly so why should anyone expect animals to act otherwise. |

Humans ARE animals. I just found some pics of human tails, lol. Pretty ugly hairless tails, but still. |

i have a phobia of dogs. i was traumatized as a kid in pakistan, when there was a dust storm or whatever you call it, and while it was receding, and everyone was still in their houses, some stupid kid from the town decided to venture out. a bunch of wild hungry dogs almost ripped the poor kid apart, just like that vid. watched it all from the second story window of my house.
ever since, i dont think i've ever trusted an animal. i did have a dog, a very big one, that i really used to like and hang out with. it was one of those big guard dogs my grandpa had. i stopepd going near it, it died, and ever since, every time you bring a dog near me, ESPECIALLY a dog, i'll be really uncomfortable. although, i've been a good boy this year, and i dont freak out anymore, but i'm still ready to bolt at the drop of a hairpin. haha.
and there's my life story.
next week, we'll talk about my phobia of bees. |

I have a very strong dislike for monkeys because one almost killed my sister and tore my brother up when he tried to fight it off. It was just a monkey some asshole kept in his backyard as a pet--it ran away and bumped into us, and went all psycho. Ever since then, whenever anyone use the word "cute" and monkey together, I'll be all like, "Pffft." |
