its late and im sort of bored after posting repies to some posts, so just felt like making a new threed.

any pet peeves anyone?

a personal pet peeve of mine is misdialed phone numbers (to my house). i get them about every week.

I dunno If this is a pet peeve or not, but it just erks me to hear people lie! I just can't stand it! It's like if I'm sitting around and I know that their lying I just have to address them!

Another one is that I hate people to rearrange my stuff! Anything! The way I keep the folders on my drives, my cds, my books, anything.

I've never heard the word "pet peeve" in my entire life, but i guess it stands for stuff that annoys you.

I hate it when people dont get my point no matter how hard i try, simply because they choose to ignore my point in favour of a biased idea they keep. Ugh.

I also hate people that use buzzwords all the time. "Content" "Interactivity" BAH!

Several things just get to me. Using the wrong words in the wrong place is one of them, and I hate myself for it cos is so blimmin' snobby, but there you go.

Also hate those pull down menus on sites that have a "go" button next to them. I always forget to hit it, and go away to another browser window while waiting for the new page to load, then come back only to find it's still sitting there saying "Okay, you've given me a page. NOW what should I do..?"

I hate it when people start nudging their way closer to you when they're talking to you. If you're gonna talk to me, get outta my way or you are getting pushed, heh.

I hate when someone uses the word "fanboy" as an insult. This is common on gaming forums where someone is called a fanboy because they like a product that is backed by tons of dough. Don't ask me, I think it's stupid too.

I REALLY hate posers. You can weird, you can be boring, you can be freaking Barbara Streisand for all I care, just be yourself.

I hate it when your working retail and some 12 year old comes up to you and tries to buy condoms, and when you look past him his little friends are covering their mouths and snickering. Funny.

Old people shouldn't be allowed to drive.

This Napster craze is outta hand, let's sue Lars Ulrich and see how he feels after the lawyers tear him a new one.

I hate it when people bash on Anime because they think it's "too Japanese" or "I don't like Pokemon." Pokemon has defiled all that is holy, especially anime as a whole. You people watch Evangelion and tell me Pokemon is better. It's impossible.

It really ticks me off when pre-pubescent girls come into your store and buy a pack of gum for $.40, then use their parents credit cards to pay for it. I'll buy you the gum, just quit holding up the line with your all-too-tangible stupidity!

lol typhon, im with you on the first one. when old people talk to me, they always grab my arm and like squeeze it, im kinda like "um...?". for instance, the other day i was in the mall, buying some clothes, and an old man walks up to me and grabs my arm and starts coughing and talking right in my face about how his grandson likes to do what im doing.

Arrogant, snotty people.
But my #1 peeve is.. the patronising attitude I tend to get whenever I go back to Europe, especially in France.. I don't travel with my French passport anymore out of SHAME. Thankfully, there are many exceptions (lovesick sigh)... but I get tired of being patient and wait for their mask to fall down. The thought of moving back there for work makes my skin crawl..
