It was pretty much what I expected it to be, if not a little underwhelming. But, I thought about it on the way home and came up with the conclusion that one hour and a half movie can't possibly compete with even one season, much less 18. Still, it was great.

it was nice ...
like watching a alonger and better animated version of the tv series.

specially like the part "yes, we even advertise in the movies"

I think Simpsons stopped being funny years ago, so I doubt I'll pay to see this. I've heard mostly lukewarm responses so far, anyway.

Yea, I'm not sure. It was enjoyable just not devastatingly funny. They probably should of stopped creating episodes a little while ago as the writing has drifted somewhat.
