So I spent ~4 hrs doing this character up and I want to push it further. But, I have no idea how to do it. I figured I'd get some opinions first, at this stage.

Could I get a few comments please? I'd like to know where people think I need to improve and/or how they might think I could push this.

There's sort of a bit of everything wrong with it. Smile

It's not bad, by any means, but if you're looking for things to push you could do more accurate anatomy, you could work on a more realistic pose (the legs are the main problem here), add consistent light-sourcing over the entire object, and use more realistic skin tones. The whole thing kinda feels a bit too murky too, like it was originally a full color image than has been reduced to 64 colors or something.

Hopefully that'll give you some ideas to go on with.

Thanks, that helps! Hmmm... I'm not sure how I'd be able to avoid murky looks in the future. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi...

I like the style .... 50 years ago, with more red tones it was called "soc-real"...

But, the hammer... With this cylindrical shape it look like a common rubberhammer.... this size hammers normally having square shapes.
