Here is my sketch book, I am wanting to become a concept artist. I am self teaching myself, because I can't afford school and I work a full time job so I draw in my spare time.

Here are my sketches in order that I have done them.

here was an attempt to do a concept of Max from the Sega Genesis game Streets of Rage 2, I am not satisfied with this one, but I will going to do some more soon!

I think you're doing the right thing, keep doing those studies! they remind me alot of my own sketches a few years ago (not that i'm very advanced now)

are you drawing from life as well? if not, you should! talking from my own experience, it's a very good way to learn about all the things that builds a picture. general understaing of light, perspective, proportion, values etc

@notic: Thanks, yeah I am beginning to do a lot more life drawings Smile

I have been trying to learn form the past few days now to get rid of the flat look in my drawings. When I looked at my bot drawing posted above, I can now see the flatness in it. Not only am I seeing slight improvements in my form, but I am starting to see my lines beginning to loosen up and having some control. I am going to walk through Scott robertson's gnomon perspective and form dvd tonight.

I felt the same thing!
These look very similar to my old studies, if I look 8 years back.
