yeah, no kidding synnical. I always thought the point was for aircraft to stay away from power lines. It must take steady nerves to hover like that for so long.

Whats that thing he has to zap the chopper and the line what is its purpose? Looks like a fun job... When I was working the rigs I got sent to the top of the dereck in -50 weather haha just imagine.

Hell - I am not even sure what the guy is doing on the wire anyway; does anyone have any insight to this task? What exactly are they doing??

He mentioned something about repair. So I think he was inspecting the lines for damage and those bits at the towers.
