I'm currently looking to hire a good 2D/3D artist for a full-time position here at iwin.com
Requirements:
-kickass 2D (illustration, concept art, UI, storyboard)
-kickass 3D (modeling, texturing, lighting, and ideally can animate too), with emphasis on characters.
If the candidate can handle cutesy stylized look, itll be a nice bonus (because the casual game market is heavily based on the cute look). Casual styles can range from very simple 2D cartoony characters to more elaborate stylized 3D characters (think Glen Keane's upcoming Rapunzel movie).
I don't care much about experience--your portfolio just has to rock (when I say rock, I mean you really have to impress. If it's just passable, then it doesn't rock), and you're a nice guy/girl who is pleasant to be around (no excessive ego, no tantrums, no grating/overbearing personalities, no inter-office politics bullshit). It'd be nice if you didn't take a millions years to finish a piece of art too--the faster you are, the more valuable you are. Of course, if you have experience, that's even better.

I wish I possessed a tenth of what you need.
I wish I possessed all of it, and lived in S.F. to apply...
But just to see this post and dream...Damn, Luna. You DO know how to make people's day. Thank's for posting this here.

Yeah, its hard to find skilled multitalents these days, who is willing to relocate and who already doesnt have a job. |
