been practicing with this wacom tablet for about a week. i notice a problem (maybe due to my technique, but we'll see). i get these "INK LEAKS" when i'm painting. i'd be sketching something in light lines and in the middle of it get a totally dark line. i guess it could be the tablet sensing more pressure, but i'm keeping pretty much the same pressure..
so, in this picture here, all those dark lines were non-intentional

That's because the Photoshop falls behind when you take quick strokes. PS is designed to work at its best when you assign it about 90 Mb RAM. If you have less than that, that could be your problem. I just got used to it, and I keep my history undo list handy, just in case.

Hm... that's sounds really weird...

Anyway, here are the latest Wacom drivers (v4.50 English), give 'em try and see if they solve your problem:

Mac drivers 1.47mb
PC drivers 1.89mb

Good luck guys!

I've had the same problem, and I don't think it's RAM related (have 320Mb). I had installed the new drivers some time ago, and although I didn't actually notice it, I think Oscar's solution about the drivers is what does it since I've had no problems in quite a while.

frost.

hmm, my tablet has a couple of sweet spots. but that's just because its well worn (I assume). I wouldn't think a new one would do that.
So, ummm.. yeah, no help here, except I played around with the sensitivity settings and it wasn't a problem anymore, for me.

I'm experiencing this same problem as you dudes. I haven't found any relation with RAM, and even the latest drivers aren't fixing this problem.

Yeah. I know that problem.

I remember never having that problem before, but one day after I installed a new wacom driver it suddenly appeared. I have tried to look up the older driver but since I switched to NT I haven't been able to look up that older driver (dont remember wich version). And like Cypher I just got used to it and keep that handy historyundo in action.

OH yeah...and I got 512MB ram so I guess it's not because of lack of ram...
