damned good.

i think eventually you will want to blend those brush strokes. The 'painterly' effect is not bad in itself, but in a face with skin like this... well, you could get away with chiseling an apple out of a block of wood... a peach would beg sandpapering.

you have a great eye and a good hand.

Hey geo, thanks a lot man, it means a lot to receive feedback. I completely understand what your saying. Me being new to drawing/painting digitally, I'm learning a lot of things just by trial and error, the skin is one of those, it started off rough but after walking away from the drawing every so often and coming back made me realize "oh ya I need to smooth that out a bit more and oh yea this eye is not in the right place" so I think I'm catching on fast, may need a few lessons though, :/

I do appreciate the comment though man, thanks

Don't forget to keep varying those skin tones too, just you've started to do on her nose... Those shadows can start to get really muddy if you get too stuck on using just darker values rather than different hues - it looks like her shadows in the photo have some vibrant oranges and reds and some subtle blues here and there - be adventurous, just don't overdo it..

something disturbs my eye in the mouth. It's like the mouth and chin were a bit skewed.. off center. Not sure though, so check it out.

Hey man, appreciate the comment! Im going to display the updated version as soon as possible to show you what I have now, I did notice that after a while there are more warm and cool colors in the original than I have painted so far. I dont know how some do it but i have come comfortable to using a dry brush set on a 20% opacity and I normally just brush in and out combining the colors. Thanks for the comment man, appreciate it.

Here is the updated one

I for sure know that the mouth is perfect but I have been having a little issue with the chin. Occasionally I will notice that the chin looks too long or bulky so I go in and edit it. After a few more touch ups after the initial change I will notice more flaws and will touch it up again... and again... so eventually i will get it right Twisted Evil
