hey, its really coming along well. you've done a good job with the color overlay!

crit- make the bottom of the cloth fade a tad bit. it looks, at one point, as if she's sitting on a pole or something. also, her breasts are too high, and too man-like. Push them down, and enlarge them a tad bit to get away from the 'man-effect' because of the abs. Smile nice work though!

Very nice too see the first interpretation of the topic!
I think you've done a great job so far.

I have to agree with annis. Maybe you could add more stuff to the bg. It looks abit empty now. Good luck!

Coming along nicely.

Little worried about the composition. It's almost a montage, with the large objects floating in the foreground, with no sense of scale in relation to reach other. And the background doesn't seem to relate to the foreground -- could be anything back there.

Just some thoughts.

3nasty> yes. scale and depth is the problem. You're coming along nicely, but as everyone said, you should address those things. That would also take composition into account too.
at the moment, my eye cant help but travel to the right, as the larger objects attract much more attention than the woman on the left. Scale and depth are another concern. Try to take one of the robots in the foreground, and put it in the background , against/near one of the large buildings, to help give it scale. also, atmospheric perspective would help too. In it, things are darker in the foreground, and as you go into the distance, they get lighter and lose detail. Smile keep it up!

I think the background is awesome...the effect of the water is really great, i think u should try to make something else float.....i don't see the meaning of the robots in the picture, the women is cool but it needs some improvements, some oriental clothes perhaps to match the whole theme of the picture....

Overall, awesome work. REspecT

I like what you did with the background and I like even more how you dressed up the woman. I think you could lighten up the Sky abit and add some clouds. Maybe abit more detail to the shapes in the bg or at least make them more accurate.

i would take out the seagulls and have them in the far background as simple bird silhouettes. at the moment, it looks like one of those cheesy photo manipulations where people cut out images and try to compose them into other scenes.

also be careful. you have tangent occuring at the bottom her dress thing. it cuts off just as the bridge starts, overlap them. and her scarf has a tangent at the end too where it meets the floating alien, overlap them too.
